Wellington Hospitals Foundation and Wellington Regional Children’s Hospital would like to thank Micro Scooters NZ for their kind donation of refurbished Micro Scooters. These scooters are 3 wheeled “lean to steer” designs and are being used by our Child Development Service which works with young children who may have identified disabilities, development delays or Autism Spectrum Disorder. These scooters will be used in the gym within this unit to help test and teach balance, coordination and gross motor abilities to our young patients in a ‘fun’ way. Wellington Regional Children’s Hospital is the oldest Children’s Hospital in New Zealand and we provide Tertiary care to children throughout the region. Thanks Micro Scooters NZ!
