This week the Rotary Club of Whanganui North team presented Bill Day Chair of the Foundation with an incredible $35,000 towards outfitting the interior of the two Rotary district 9940 sponsored family rooms in our New Regional Children’s Hospital. We are very grateful to the club for their hard work and generous support.
As a tertiary level hospital, the new Te Wao Nui Child Health Service and Hospital will be a lifeline for families across our region and play an important part in New Zealand’s specialist children’s hospital network. Specialist paediatric surgery is only performed at five hospitals in the country – one of which is Wellington.
