Hamish Allen is an Assistant Project Manager at McKee Fehl Construction, who are building your incredible New Regional Children’s Hospital. As the project heads towards completion, Hamish daringly decided to let his manager, Andrew Bukiel, cut his long, flowing curly hair in support of our fundraising to outfit and equip the interior of the new hospital!

“I shaved my hair to raise funds for the Wellington Hospitals Foundation. I chose this charity because of my involvement in the construction phase of the New Children’s Hospital over the last 2 years. When open in 2022, the facility will have a fit out with medical equipment and other patient care items to ensure children in the Greater Wellington Region receive better healthcare”.

After having long hair for over seven years, Hamish is now adjusting to a different look and the need for a tighter hard hat!  He has raised an incredible $3,130 from his friends, family, colleagues and supporters.

Thanks also to Maurice Clark, Managing Director for McKee Fehl who also kindly matched Hamish’s donation!
