We are very fortunate to meet incredible young people like 16 year old student Charlotte who recently spent 99 days in hospital.
She became known on the ward as “The Butterfly Girl” because of the many butterflies scattered across her room.
Her experience sparked a desire to give back and Charlotte has launched The Butterfly Project εϊз in an attempt to raise $10,000 for Wellington Regional Children’s Hospital. She has already raised over $2,000 by selling wooden butterflies, t-shirts and hoodies.
Charlotte also very kindly dropped in with a selection of gifts for children spending long hours in hospital this Christmas.
