Rotary District 9940 members have been working tirelessly throughout our region to raise funds needed to outfit and equip the two new whānau spaces in the new regional children’s hospital.

With countless raffles, quiz nights, and other fun fundraising activities, we are delighted to announce they have reached their incredible target of $400,000!  With kitchen, dining, play and lounge spaces the two whanau rooms will be a welcome and much needed facility for families, especially those spending long periods in hospital with their wee ones.

We are incredibly grateful to have the support of our Rotary friends, and our huge thanks to Rotary International, District 9940 and all the members who supported this mammoth fundraising effort.
