We’d love you to meet wee Bodhi (5). Bodhi is very creative and is also obsessed with Transformers – whether transforming his toys, watching them on TV or drawing his own. Mum Amy wanted to celebrate this passion and had Bodhi’s artwork printed on T-shirts. Initially Bodhi felt too shy to wear them but when he saw his little brother Abel and Dad wearing one of his designs, there was no stopping him. Soon friends and family were asking for one of their own, and that’s when “Love Bodhi” was born. Bodhi has been a frequent flyer to the children’s hospital and he wanted to ensure that children spending time in hospital this Christmas would have a new toy on Christmas Day. Bodhi decided to sell his T-shirts and buy and donate new Hot Wheels Cars to Te Wao Nui. Amy told us, “We appreciate everything the hospital does and how incredibly hard they work, and we are beyond grateful for how they have, and continue to, look after our family!”
