It was wonderful to welcome members of the World Marudao Karate Organisation to the Blood and Cancer Unit yesterday, to thank them for helping fund two new Comfortline2 Treatment Chairs through their annual Charity Quiz.
These fully adjustable chairs are a game changer for patients undergoing chemotherapy and immunotherapy, offering greater comfort, independence and safety during long hours of treatment.
The Wellington Blood and Cancer Centre provides specialist care to people from across Wellington, Wairarapa and the KÄpiti Coast. Thanks to the kindness of our community, that care can now be delivered with even more comfort and dignity.
