Foundation funds $92,000 worth of equipment for new ICU expansion

This week, the new expansion to Wellington Regional Hospital’s Intensive Care Unit (ICU) opened, after over a year of work. The ICU expansion increases it’s capacity from 18 to 24 beds, and will ensure fewer non-urgent surgeries are postponed. Wellington community comes together to keep kids warm this winter!

Together, the greater Wellington Community have donated over 7000 pairs of pyjamas to Wellington Hospitals Foundation’s ‘Hospi’s Pyjamas for Winter Appeal’.
