Wellington’s King Edward VII Memorial Hospital for Children was New Zealand’s first hospital to be devoted exclusively to the treatment and care of children, and was opened on this day in 1912. It has been a 109 year journey to Te Wao Nui, your new purpose built children’s hospital opening later this year.
