Wellington Regional Hospital’s busy Emergency Department sees about 180 patients a day, and on its busiest day treated a staggering 261 patients. ED Clinical Leader Dr Mark Hussey also explained that the ED staff have a remarkable ability to sniff out a wee bit of cake!
The team were very grateful to Emily, Devon, Piper and Katie of Samuel Marsden Collegiate School, who took up the school’s William Pike Challenge, treating them to some wonderful baking in appreciation of their hard mahi.
