We were thrilled to be presented with a donation of $10,000 from Johnsonville Lions Club to fund two new hi-tech electric beds in the new children’s hospital.
Incredibly, this donation is on top of the $15,000 the club has raised as part of the regional Lions Clubs project committing $500,000 to fund Te Wao Nui Child Health Service and Hospital’s new outdoor rehabilitative Playscape. Lions have long been champions of Child Health in our region and we are extremely grateful for their ongoing support.
With 20,000 sausages sizzled and served to their local community, as well as hosting a Quiz Night and two fashion fundraising events in the last 18 months, this is an extraordinary commitment by Johnsonville Lions and a testament to the members hard work within their community!
