Margaret and her daughter Debbie are talented and prolific knitters for the Foundation. Last year Margaret knitted an incredible 45 jackets to be sold through our hospital giftshop.
Debbie has very fond memories of her Mum teaching her how to knit, and recently reached a knitting-milestone celebrating her 300th singlet for the hospital – marking it with a special stripy pink number.
As one of the hospital’s original pink ladies, Margaret has had a long association with Wellington Hospital and has been knitting for hospital babes for more than 16 years. This is a wonderful gift of skill and time from these lovely ladies
