Last week 12 year old Maddie, pictured here with her Dad Andrew, spent a frightening and unexpected night in our children’s hospital after being rushed in by ambulance. She had been taking part in the Tough Girl and Guy event and was not dressed for a night in a hospital bed! Maddie was thrilled when she was offered a warm pair of brand new PJ’s, donated in the Jammies in June appeal.
Mum, Amanda, was also very grateful for the Foundation funded care pack of toiletries after her unexpected stay beside Maddie. Fortunately Maddie is doing well now.
