After four long years, we were excited to welcome back some very special guests to Te Wao Nui children’s hospital today – our charity partner Wellington Rugby / Wellington Lions, ahead of their home game tomorrow!
Players, Du’Plessis Kirifi, Billy Proctor, Losi Filipo, Dominic Bird and Pepesana Patafilo scored smiles with our young champs, and staff also had a ball meeting some of their favourite players. Hats off to the team for this drop-kick of kindness!
Wellington Rugby Lions have started the 2023 Bunnings Warehouse NPC season well, winning their first three games and successfully defending the Ranfurly Shield last Saturday against Southland!
