Talented bakers Erika, Amelie, and Emily, recently whipped up a storm, selling delicious goodies so that they could buy crafts and games for sick kids spending time in hospital. Some tamariki spend long hours in hospital and donations of new toys, games and art supplies are always a very welcome addition to our Play Specialists’ kete of resources. The trio were especially keen to ensure that teens had access to much needed activities.
But what makes this story even sweeter, is that Emily’s Mum is one of Te Wao Nui’s Associate Charge Nurses, and Emily herself is the fantastic voice talent behind our current radio ads!
It’s amazing to see our rangatahi making such a positive impact in the lives of others.
