Children and young people in Te Wao Nui Children’s Hospital were treated to a very special Christmas visit from the Wellington District Police this morning. There were smiles all round as members of the police team, the Dive Squad and a couple of excited pooches, went bedside handing out gifts.
Our huge thanks to the Wellington District Police whanau who generously donate Christmas gifts every year. Gifts will be distributed to sick tamariki spending time in hospital this Christmas, as well as by our paediatric community nursing team throughout the holiday period.
