This morning, tamariki and rangatahi at Te Wao Nui Children’s Hospital were treated to a fantastic Christmas visit from the Wellington District Police. There were smiles all round as members of the district team, the Dive Squad and three excited pooches, went bedside handing out gifts.
Our huge thanks to the Wellington District Police whānau for their generous annual donation of Christmas presents. Special thanks also go to The Warehouse Petone for their wonderful donation of books and The Warehouse Lyall Bay for their generous $500 toy donation.
These gifts will bring much joy to children spending Christmas in hospital, and will also be shared by our paediatric community nursing team throughout the holiday season.
