The crew worked until midnight on Saturday to complete the final continuous pour of the concrete slab. Larger than the first pour, this time an incredible 1,011m3 of concrete was needed – which is equivalent to 185 standard truck loads of cement!
If you’re wondering about the square inserts, they are the footings for the seismic base isolators which will have an incredible 2 metre sway.
