2020 is the International Year of the Nurse and Midwife, and now more than ever before, nurses are in the spotlight worldwide. Today we celebrate International Nurses Day, with a small gift from the Foundation to all nurses and midwives working in Wellington Regional and Kenepuru Hospitals. We thank them for their dedication, their energy and good humour; and their high quality compassionate care of our loved ones when they are at their most vulnerable.
