Our wonderful donors Mark Dunajtschik and Dorothy Spotswood along with Bill Day Chair of the Wellington Hospitals Foundation, builders McKee Fehl Constructors Ltd and representatives from the CCDHB leadership team, were thrilled to host the Governor General Dame Patsy through the New Children’s Hospital this morning. As our immediate neighbour, Her Excellency has taken a keen interest in the construction of the new hospital and it was a lovely opportunity to show her around the build as she comes to the end of her term as Governor General. It was also exciting to see the multi-storied Tree of Life, which is a key design feature of the new hospital, beginning to take shape.
