Wellington District Police have been long time supporters of our children’s hospital, and we were thrilled to welcome them to Te Wao Nui last week when they dropped in more than 400 pairs of PJs to help keep sick tamariki and rangatahi warm and well this winter.

These cosy PJs were generously donated from members of the wider Wellington District Police whānau, including: Wellington Central Police & the Central Communications team, The Royal NZ Police College, Police National Headquarters, the Dive Squad, the Firearms Registry, Child Protection Petone, Kapiti and Kapiti Digital Centre, the Evidence Based Policing and Wellness team, Hutt Police, Petone Police and local businesses who shared their location on the waterfront; and the Wairarapa Police team. Special thanks also to Dan Ralph, Karl Dulver and Lisa Barber for their mahi in co-ordinating the Police appeal
