We’re wrapping newborns in love this Mothers Day.
All NICU, SCBU, and new mums at Wellington Regional Hospital, Kenepuru Hospital, Hutt Hospital, and Kapiti Maternity Unit will receive a special handmade quilt this Mother’s Day.
These beautiful quilts are lovingly crafted by our amazing volunteer quilters, a huge thank you to Sue Grimwood, Shanon Peters, and the Busy Bee Quilt Shop Quilting Group for their ongoing support!
“It is a real pleasure being able to gift these beautiful one of a kind quilts to new Mothers. Our volunteers work hard to produce around 100 handmade quilts in time for Mother’s Day every year. We are very fortunate to have such talented and generous people.”
Paula Richards, Head of Volunteering, Wellington Hospitals Foundation.
