Why partnering with us can help to strengthen healthcare in our region.

Our partners are incredible. They’ve helped to fund life changing medical equipment in various wards and departments throughout our region’s hospitals, supported the child health service through PJ appeals and Christmas gifts for sick children, and supported the refurbishment of spaces to deliver greater care and comfort for families when they need it most.

We understand that every partnership is different, and that every organisation has unique strengths and ways to help. For some, organising a charity golf day or a fundraising event might be an easy way to help. For others, it might be donating goods or services in kind such as sponsored vehicles, or making a financial contribution that’s either flexible or targeted to support an important project in a particular area of health they care about.

We love building great partnerships, and have a proud history of working with different businesses and community organisations. We understand the importance of aligning around a shared vision and values, and what it takes to deliver win-win outcomes. Great partnerships start with great conversations. Buddle Findlay Child Health Foundation.

In 2023, we formalised a three year Charity Partnership with Buddle Findlay Child Health Foundation to enhance services within Te Wao Nui Child Health Service.  Their extraordinary generosity improves the lives of thousands of tamariki across our region.

The surgical microscope is a critical piece of equipment that we use frequently in our outpatient clinic. We are enormously grateful to have it as it has enabled us to run dedicated paediatric Ear, Nose and Throat clinics in our new children’s hospital. -  Dr Katherine Baguley, Otolaryngologist & ENT Surgeon
