Why legacy giving matters for healthcare in our community.
Your generosity can help to ensure that when the worst happens, our hospitals have everything they need to provide world class care for patients and families now, and for future generations. With increasing pressure on our healthcare system, legacy gifts can play a key role in providing support in the areas of healthcare that you care about most.
Choosing to leave a gift in your will is a deeply personal decision, and everyone is different. Some of our supporters decide to leave a gift to the Foundation that is completely flexible and ‘untagged’, or sometimes it might be to support a particular hospital or a particular area of healthcare such as cancer, child health, mental health, or women's health. Your gift, no matter what size, can make a significant difference on the future of healthcare services and every single person who uses them.
If you’re thinking about the legacy you want to create, and would like to discuss or explore ideas for the difference that a gift in your will could make, please get in touch.
We're here to help.
Thank you for considering this extraordinary way to care for your community. All conversations are confidential and without obligation.

Sample wording.
To help make the process easier, many people find it useful to have sample wording when speaking with their solicitor. Using language like this ensures your intentions are clear, while giving you the flexibility to specify how your gift is used.
We encourage you to speak with your legal adviser to ensure your will reflects your wishes.
